I hope everyone had a good week and you’re enjoying a great Saturday! Here’s what’s going on at LifePoint:
New facility purchase
We’ve just about finished “running the trotlines” in our quest to find a bank that will make an offer we can live with. Unfortunately, so far, we’re coming up empty. As I have told you before, every bank we’ve talked with only wants to loan 50% of what we need, or they have insisted on guarantors for the loan - requirements that are unacceptable. We have two more banks we hope to hear from early next week, and obviously, we’re hoping one of them will make a reasonable offer. If not, the Executive Team is going back to the drawing board to reassess our strategy. Be praying that God gives us clarity as we near the end of this difficult process.
Auction for a week in Pagosa Springs, CO
Time is running out on a great opportunity to bid on a 7-day condominium stay in Pagosa Springs, CO, for the week of Mar 21-28! A generous couple in our church is offering this wonderful chance to spend a week in beautiful Colorado, and it will go to the highest bidder, with the proceeds going to the LifePoint Building Fund. If you would like to take advantage of this great week in Pagosa Springs, jump on our church website and place a bid. Who knows? You may walk away the winner! Auction will end Monday, March 17, 2026 @ 11:45PM (Central). Please click here to learn more. Thank you, Ike & Peggy!
Plymouth/Boston tour
We only had approximately half of the necessary 35 folks register for the tour scheduled for late May. So, if you already paid your registration, we will be refunding your deposit. We will continue working on a possible tour this fall. If you have any interest or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Help needed to move a member
This Wednesday, one of our LifePoint ladies is moving and we need volunteers to help to make that job much easier. If you can help, please let Gary Davis, Julie Workman, or me know tomorrow at church so we will know if we are going to have enough help.
Special offering this Sunday
We will take up a special offering this Sunday for an elderly couple in our church family who are in desperate need of a used car. Please prayerfully consider a donation for this worthy cause.
Crossroads Clinic 2026 Fundraising Banquet
Although it seems like it was only yesterday that we were promoting the 2025 fundraiser, it’s time to look forward to the 2026 event! As most of you know, Crossroads is a ministry LifePoint supports monthly. Their work is so important and every baby they save is a miracle in and of itself. In the process, they often get to lead those involved to saving faith in Jesus. This year’s fundraiser will be on April 9 at 6:30pm-8:30pm and will be held at The Dominion House, 818 N Oak St, Guthrie. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Everett Piper. If you would like to participate, see Amy Bachelor for more details. You can also visit their events page on their website at https://friendsofcrossroads.org/events/

Tomorrow at LifePoint
- Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10am – we will continue our new teaching series, “Getting Scripture Right.” Tomorrow, we will finish part 2 and begin part 3, “What is Hermeneutics & how does it help us properly understand Scripture?” This series is much needed today and it will aid you in understanding how to get the Bible correct. Come join us!
- Worship/Preaching Service, 11am – we will continue our “Saved” message series and begin our investigation of whether those in hell will experience “eternal conscious torment” or be “annihilated” and cease to exist for all eternity. With Kirk Cameron’s announcement that he has become a believer in “annihilation,” the internet has gone crazy. Is Kirk right or is he just one more person who has embraced an incorrect position on an important biblical teaching? Come find out.
As always, I’m looking forward to seeing you tomorrow,
Dan Fisher
