1/31/2026 Message

I hope everyone was able to receive/read the email we sent out earlier this week about a special town hall meeting tomorrow where we will be sharing about a potential facility for LifePoint we have discovered. The Executive Team is excited to share the details with you! Of course, God’s will is paramount, so as we approach this potential permanent home for our church, we want to do so with His plan in the forefront of our minds. That said, out of all the properties and facilities I have seen, this one excites me the most and appears to, with some renovations, come the closest to meeting our needs – and at a price that may be just right for us.

So tomorrow, we will have a town hall meeting at 10 am to discuss the possibilities. Remember: we do not plan to vote on anything at this meeting but simply to share the details of this property with you. Of course, we could decide tomorrow to schedule an official vote for Feb 8 to authorize the E.T. to move toward making an offer on this property. However, that will be up to you. Come hear about this exciting possibility!

Oklahoma Liberty Coalition

Do you ever feel like it is impossible to know what our legislators are doing when they are in session at our state capitol? How can we know if they are doing the bidding of “we the people” or are simply serving the establishment and special interests? Unfortunately, they have created a system over the years that makes it essentially impossible to follow what they are doing when they are in session.

Thankfully, a group of OK patriots are working on a way to remedy that situation by developing a user-friendly website that tracks state legislation and the legislators so you can actually know what some of these weasels are doing at the Capitol. This effort is being spearheaded by the Oklahoma Liberty Coalition, and what’s more, our own Sue Dyer and Connie Thayer are an active part. Thank you, ladies!

On Feb 15 at 2:00 pm, Sue and Connie will offer a training session to teach you how to use this new tool so you can guard your liberty and rights. The training will take place in room 202 on the second floor, just outside the entrance to Constitution Hall, where we take care of our children on Sundays. If you are interested, plan on being there. If you have any questions, see Sue or Connie.
Tomorrow at LifePoint

  • Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10 am – Town hall meeting about a potential home for LifePoint
  • Worship/Preaching service, 11 am – we will continue our “Saved” message series by discussing our first subject of the series – “divine election.” Tomorrow I will be covering part 3 of this discussion entitled, “Is a forced will a free will?” Calvinism has become “in vogue” these days, and many are being confused by its teachings. I believe this has a massive negative impact on the church and on believers individually. If you want to know whether the Bible teaches that we have “libertarian/free will” or that God “enforces His will on the elect,” you’ll want to hear this message. Of course, each one of these messages is predicated on the ones previous, so if you had to miss parts 1 & 2, you can check them out on our church website at lbcok.com.

Don’t forget to pray for our struggling members

Please be praying for those in our church who are battling with physical issues. We have a good number of folks who are struggling. If you know someone who is having a tough time and can reach out to them either by text message, email, phone call, or personal visit, I know it would be a blessing to them – not to mention to yourself as well. Although we have shepherds at LifePoint who minister to their flocks, we all need to perform the work of a minister and lift up those who need a special touch. Who knows? Tomorrow, it might be you or me who is in need of care. And don’t forget, Jesus said that when we “do it to the least of these, we’re doing it to Him.” Don’t miss a chance to minister to our Lord by ministering to someone who needs your help.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow,

Dan Fisher
