I have no idea how I pulled it off, but I forgot to honor our mothers today on, of all days, Mother’s Day. I am so sorry. I don’t know whose fault it was – Pam’s, Gary Davis’s, or Hadley Hockensmith’s, but one of them dropped the ball! 😊 I told some of the folks after the service that next Sunday will likely look like a men’s conference since the women may boycott us.
On a serious note, I do want to wish all our mothers a wonderful and blessed Mother’s Day. How much poorer our lives would be without you and we truly honor you for your faithfulness throughout the years. We love you and pray God’s best for you.
I do want to thank all of you for your receptiveness and cooperation with the proposed LifePoint constitution and by-laws. I know the past couple of Sundays have been grueling as we have slogged through the text of those two documents. I hope everyone is comfortable with them. Don’t forget that we will be voting to adopt them first thing next Sunday (May 19) at the beginning of our Bible study time at 10:00am.
