3/22/2025 Message

I apologize for getting this newsletter out so late, but the weekend simply got away from me. Because of that, I’ll keep it short.

Adding two new members to our Executive Team
Don’t forget that we will be voting to add Ike Buress and Chuck McDowell to our Executive Team on March 30 right before we begin the Pastor’s Class. If you have any questions you would like to ask them personally, feel free to reach out to them at church.

Crossroads Clinic and financial needs
This week, our church was able to make a financial gift of $7000.00 to Crossroads Clinic to help address pressing needs. We already had $835.00 on hand that had been given to Crossroads through our church, so we gave that plus an extra $6165.00. It would be great if we could recoup that extra $6165.00 and replenish our funds. So, if you feel so compelled and would like to give an extra love offering over your normal giving, that would be great. Whether we recoup the money or not, the ministry of Crossroads is so crucial, we are honored to partner with them and will continue to do so.

Also, don’t forget to pray for the Crossroads annual fundraising banquet, April 10, 2025, at The Dominion House in Guthrie. Their fundraising goal is $150,000. If you feel God wants to use you in this critical ministry and would like more information, reach out to Amy Bachelor or me.

Tomorrow at LifePoint
· Pastor’s Class, 10:00 am – We will finish part 5 of our Biblical Types series as we learn how the cross of Christ was no afterthought with God but was previewed for us in 2000 BC! Then, we’ll begin part 6: “The Cleft of the Rock” which will discuss the amazing story of how God placed Moses into the crack in a rock so he could see the glory of God and how that applies to us. Come learn about this amazing biblical type.

· Worship/preaching Service, 11:00 am – We will continue our three-week “Why Church?” with part 2: “Way more than a building.” Typically, when we think of church, we think of a church building or a church service. But is that what the church really is, and does it really matter? The answer to that question has huge earthly and heavenly implications.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow,
Dan Fisher
