I think Fall is finally here! My favorite time of the year.
Here are a few things of interest:
Update on the land
We continue to move at a snail’s pace, as it always goes early on in a project like this. Right now, we’re interviewing architects, civil engineers, and other folks we will need to get all the tasks completed that will take us to actual ownership of the land.
Here is a simplified list of the steps that will need to be taken:
Presently, we are working on steps 1-4. Once we have definitive information, we can share it with you, or a vote needs to be taken to execute the plan, we will have a town hall/business meeting to give an update or make decisions.
Help is needed to move one of our members
Sonya Lloyd is moving to a new house and needs assistance. Although she does not yet have an occupancy date, she’s hoping for no later than 10/29 or 10/30. Since the house is empty, she may be able to move in earlier. A few pickups and trailers (preferably enclosed) will be needed. If you can help, please contact Gary Davis.
Tomorrow at LifePoint
1. How does a culture get to the bottom?
2. What does the bottom look like?
3. Why has violence increased in America?.
If you have missed any of these important messages, they are available on our website. If you need help, contact Val.

- Get the land surveyed
- Secure an architect, civil engineer, and whoever else we need to do preliminary drawings to satisfy the City of Edmond
- Have a site plan study and drawing completed
- Apply for either a “special use” permit or request the rezoning of the property
- Once the special use permit is granted or the property is rezoned, complete actual blueprints to satisfy the City of Edmond to get a building permit
- Once the building permit is granted, we take possession of the land
- Dirt work can begin
- Construction can begin
Presently, we are working on steps 1-4. Once we have definitive information, we can share it with you, or a vote needs to be taken to execute the plan, we will have a town hall/business meeting to give an update or make decisions.

Tomorrow at LifePoint
- Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10 am – we will continue our “Truths on Truth” lesson series with part 3: “Why doesn’t God stop evil?” One of the great hindrances to people coming to Christ is the problem with evil and why God allows it. They often ask, “If God exists and is a good God, why doesn’t He put an end to evil?” In fact, even believers sometimes ask this question. So, beginning tomorrow, we will start a discussion that will attempt to answer this question from a biblical perspective. Come join us
- Worship/Preaching Service, 11 am – we will continue our “Are we nearing the bottom of the barrel?” message series with part 4: “What happens when a culture hits bottom?” Thus far, we have answered these questions:
1. How does a culture get to the bottom?
2. What does the bottom look like?
3. Why has violence increased in America?.
