Wow! This week has flown by. I want to remind you of a few things.
First, another special thank you to the management of KimRay for allowing us to meet in the Kimmell Conf. Ctr. last Sunday night. We had 150 in attendance!
Second, we will be returning to the Will Rogers Center, 3400 NW 36th St, OKC this Sunday, Mar 24, for one last Sunday evening gathering in that facility. Please do not forget to thank the Will Rogers staff for their hospitality if you get the chance. We will meet at our usual time of 6:00 pm. We will be wrapping up Daniel 11 and beginning chapter 12 for the final sprint to the finish line of our study of Daniel’s amazing book.
Third, we will experience a huge milestone in our journey together as we experience our first Sunday morning gathering next Sunday, Mar 31! We will be at the Will Rogers Center, 3400 NW 36th St, OKCfor the final time as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. We will enjoy a great worship time and experience our first Lord’s Supper together as a fellowship. There will be snacks available around 9:15 am and our service will begin at 10:00 am, concluding around 11:30 am. The plan is to also have an area set-up to take photos of our friends and families in their Sunday best! There will be a link where everyone can privately view those images later and download for free! So, please be sure to take photos with us Resurrection Sunday morning. We hope to be able to also use those photos for the church directory project. But, of course, you are always free to use an image of your choosing.
And speaking of milestones, we have secured Constitution Hall at UCO (map to follow in the next newsletter) and will enjoy our first Sunday there on April 7! Our service schedule will be as follows:
9:30 am - 10:00 am: Snack/fellowship time - Constitution Hall Lounge
10:00 am - 10:45 am: Children’s Bible class - Room 202
10:00 am - 10:45 am: Pastor’s Class - Constitution Hall
10:45 am - 11:00 am: Break
11:00 am - 12:15 pm: Worship service
Finally, we would like to thank Ike and Peggy Burress and all those who participated in the auction of the Burress cabin vacation in Colorado. We were able to raise $1,200 for our fellowship!
