LifePoint family,

Christ is risen!

If that isn’t true – nothing really matters. If that is true, nothing else really matters. Everything hinges on the resurrection of Jesus. The resurrection shouts the Father’s approval and acceptance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and validates everything Jesus said about Himself and His being the divine Son of God. The resurrection truly is the “lynch pen” of Christianity. No resurrection – no Christianity. No resurrection – no hope.

Tomorrow’s Resurrection Celebration at LifePoint will begin at 9:30 am with a buffet of breakfast goodies that Beth and her team will have laid out for us. We’ll have an hour to enjoy those treats, along with a great time of fellowship, before moving into the auditorium at 10:30 am for a wonderful worship/praise service that will include a celebration of the Lord’s Supper and a message entitled, “The Five E’s That Prove the Resurrection.” This message will be a perfect follow-up to our incredible 2-part message on the Shroud of Turin we enjoyed last Sunday (if you missed those sessions, they are available on our website at Lbcok.com). You won’t want to miss a moment of tomorrow’s celebration!

*A special word about the Lord’s Supper

Scripture teaches that only born-again believers should participate in the memorial we call the Lord’s Supper. Therefore, each one of us must search our hearts to ensure we are “in the faith” and that we are walking in obedience to Him. Even if you are confident of your salvation, it’s still always good to do a little “spiritual house cleaning” before participating. If you have younger children, make certain they understand what the Lord’s Supper is all about and that they have made a personal commitment to Jesus.

On May 3rd, we will have a delightful time of fellowship, worship, and testimonials. The testimonials will showcase the impact of our Women’s Bible Study this past year. We encourage you to extend an invitation to family and friends. This will serve as an excellent opportunity for other women to explore our faith-building Women's Ministry. You will not want to miss it!

Coffee and delectable eats will be served by our very own Beth McDowell.
