Good evening LifePoint family,
As I’m sure most of you are aware, the weather service is predicting a significant winter storm this weekend. If their predictions are correct, we could receive an astonishing 13 inches of snow. Even if it doesn’t snow that much, we will likely still receive significant snowfall and with temperatures predicted to remain well below freezing, whatever snow does fall will stay around for a while.
Therefore, it is likely we will have to cancel Sunday services this weekend. Although I am normally hesitant to do that, this storm is predicted to be so strong, none of us will likely want to be out traveling early Sunday morning – even if we only get half the snow they’re predicting.
That said, we don’t want to prematurely cancel services and then regret it if the storm turns out not to be as strong as they’re predicting. So, we will be watching the weather closely, as I’m sure you will as well, and if the storm turns out to be as fierce Friday evening and Saturday morning as we’re being told, we will send out an official email early Saturday letting you know what we are going to do.
Stay safe and we’ll communicate something definitive as soon as we see what happens.
