I want to begin with a very special thank you to Gary Davis for his superb budget presentation last Sunday. The great amount of work he put into the 2026 budget was both evident and perfectly aligned our assets for the coming year in a way that optimizes our ministry priorities and honors the Lord. His review of 2025 also helped us get a good picture of where we are at the end of this year. Thank you, Gary. Your work is vital to the health of our church.
Along those lines, I also want to thank all of you, the LifePoint congregation, for your agreeable and trusting spirit. You are incredible to work with, and you make taking care of the “fiscal business” of the church a blessing rather than a burden.
If any of you want greater details about the budget or have any questions along the way, please do not hesitate to ask any of the members of the Executive Team. However, Gary is likely the best of us to direct your budget/financial questions to. He will be happy to help answer any questions you have.
Annual Christmas luncheon
Tomorrow, Dec 14, we will host our second annual Christmas luncheon for our 70+ aged widows, widowers, and senior couples who may not be able to celebrate Christmas with their families this year. Pam and I are looking forward to being with you and celebrating the Christmas season with you.
If you are not 70+ years old, but are single, a widow, a widower, or a couple who will not be able to celebrate Christmas with your family, we would still love to have you join us. Please let us know you are coming. It is important we get a headcount for this event. For your convenience, you can sign up at the welcome desk on Sunday.
The luncheon will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Location to be announced Sunday morning at church. If you have any questions, please email Val. See you there.
Update on the land
Very soon, we will be meeting with Victoria Hyde, a designing architect, to hopefully begin a process of her navigating us through the design of a site plan, securing the “special use” permit from Edmond, plans for a future structure, securing the “building” permit from Edmond, and the eventual deeding of the property (on 33rd and S. Bryant streets) to LifePoint.
Unfortunately, this process is moving quite slowly, and we have no idea how long it will be until our church officially owns the property. We will certainly keep you posted when there is a significant development. In the meantime, let’s be praying that God goes before us to guide us into His perfect will. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or any of the members of the E.T.

One last special thank you
I want to give out another special thank you. This time, I want to thank our welcome teams for always being faithful to offer a special welcome to all of us in the parking lot and the doors of the Nigh Bldg. Additionally, we are incredibly thankful for the hospitality team and their hard work to provide delicious breakfast treats for us every Sunday. To all of you, God bless you for your wonderful service. You make LifePoint a better place.
As always, I look forward to seeing you tomorrow,
Dan Fisher

Tomorrow at LifePoint
- Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10:00 am – we will continue our intriguing study of the Book of Enoch and keep moving closer to the answer of the ultimate question: “Why is the Book of Enoch not included in our Bible?” Come join us in this interesting study.
- Worship/Preaching Service, 11:00 am – last week we got off to a good start in our 2025 Christmas celebration. We began the message series: “Incarnate.” If you missed part 1, you can listen by going to our website at Lbcok.com (see links below). Tomorrow, we will continue this important doctrinal discussion of what it really means for Jesus to have “become flesh and ‘tabernacled’ among us” with part 2. Come celebrate Christmas with us and enjoy the food and fellowship before the services.
