Hello LifePoint family,
I hope you’re having a great week. Here are a few things you need to remember:
First – we will be voting to approve the proposed LifePoint constitution and by-laws this Sunday morning, May 19, during Bible study time at 10:00 am. Right after the vote, we’ll continue with our summary study of the Book of Daniel. May 26 (during Bible study time at 10:00 am), Gary Davis will present a financial report and the proposed 2024 budget. There will be a vote immediately following. Anyone who would like a copy of that proposed budget can contact Gary Davis at Gary@LBCOK.com.
Second – last Sunday we began a new sermon series taken from Henry Blackaby’s book, “Experiencing God.” Part 1 got us off to a great start and the next installment promises to be just as good. If you were unable to be there last Sunday, you can always go to our website at LBCOK.COM and listen to the first message in the series.
Third – we have been able to secure Constitution Hall where we meet every Sunday for an evening presentation of “Bringing Back the Black Robed Regiment.” The presentation will be on June 9 at 6:00 pm. Be sure and invite family and friends – especially those who have never seen the presentation. This will be a great evening just weeks before we celebrate Independence Day on July 4.
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday morning,
Dan Fisher
