4/11/2026 Message

Hello LifePoint,

What a great Resurrection Sunday we experienced last Sunday! The worship was great, the choir did a superb job, and the Hospitality Team knocked it out of the park!

Tomorrow, we will resume our study, “Getting Scripture Right,” in the Pastor’s/BRR Class, and we’ll also pick up where we left off two weeks ago in our quest to answer the question: “Will the lost suffer eternal conscious torment or be annihilated in hell?” If you missed any of the previous lessons or messages in those series, you can always catch up by going to our website – Lbcok.com. You’ll find all of them there.

Special prayers needed for the Williams family
As most of you know, John Williams has been very sick the past few months. He has been battling a liver disease since 2013, and it appears that unless the Lord intervenes, John will soon pass into heaven.

I was with John and Cheryl in the hospital yesterday and had a great visit and time of prayer with them. And even though John is near death, he was still his old comical self. He has since had the opportunity to visit with his children and grandchildren and is perfectly resigned to God’s will.

I know the entire family would appreciate your prayers as John prepares to see his Savior.

Update on our potential new facility
The E.T. met with the owners and realtors of the Event Center on Thursday and had a delightful meeting. They seem to be as excited as we are about the sale and truly believe, as we do, that God is in this. The contract is being drawn up as we speak and should be available for our analysis next Friday. Assuming all goes well, we have set a tentative closing date for early July 2026. That means that we could feasibly begin construction on the auditorium in August! Rob Chynoweth tells us that if we can, and everything goes well, there is the possibility we could move in by Christmas!

We did visit with the owners about the possibility of having a viewing for everyone in the next few weeks. They are completely open to that, and we are working on a date for everyone to be able to tour the facility and see it as it presently is. You’ll need to keep in mind that once we take possession of the facility, there will be significant changes made – especially to the auditorium. The members of the E.T. will be there to explain those improvements. That said, I think you’re going to love it! We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have a date.

Special offering for the purchase of the Event Center coming soon

Assuming LifePoint will vote to purchase the Event Center on N. Eastern, and considering the approaching closing date and the need to begin construction immediately upon closing, we will need to raise a large portion of the cost of construction. Even though we have some money available to cover our down payment and a portion of the expansion of the auditorium, we will still need to raise extra money to cover the remaining portion of the construction costs.
So, please be praying about what the Lord would have you give toward this initial offering so we can complete construction as quickly as possible, thus hastening our move-in date. Other improvements/expansions beyond the auditorium are needed for the future, but completing the auditorium is critical to our being able to use the facility. Of course, if enough is given to proceed with those other improvements, we will likely want to complete those before our move-in date as well. Just understand that we can only complete the projects that funds will allow.

Once the congregation decides “officially” to purchase the property, we will announce a date for the special offering. Please spend some time praying about it.

Women’s Ministry event coming in late April

Please take note of the date change for the upcoming Women's Ministry event.
Tomorrow at LifePoint

  • Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10am – we will continue our present lesson series, “Getting Scripture Right” as we complete part 4: “Let’s use Hermeneutics to solve some Scriptural dilemmas.” Come join us as we learn how to properly understand the more difficult/puzzling passages in the Bible.

  • Worship/Preaching Service, 11am – we will pick up our “Saved” series where we left off two weeks ago with our discussion of the nature of the eternal punishment the lost will experience. Tomorrow’s message will be part 3 of “Will the lost suffer eternal conscious torment or be annihilated in hell?” Despite Kirk Cameron’s recent embrace of “conditional immortality/annihilation” and the uproar and confusion it has caused in the Body of Christ, the Bible is not ambiguous about the eternal fate of the lost. Although “eternal conscious torment vs. annihilation” is not an essential issue for salvation, it is nonetheless an extremely important subject, and the position that one takes will greatly “color” the way they read the rest of Scripture. Thus, it is critical that we get the proper take on what Scripture teaches about the eternal punishment of the lost.

I look forward to worshiping with you tomorrow,
Dan Fisher
