3/29/2025 Message

Hoping everyone had a productive week and you are enjoying a great Saturday. We are called by the Lord to make a difference where we can. This week, I want to remind you about two awesome ministry opportunities we have right before us and about what’s on tap for tomorrow morning.

Two ministries I am very excited about:

  • Reaching Souls International

Unlike other mission efforts, RSI is a mission outreach ministry that empowers Christians in other countries to reach their own neighbors with the Gospel. Rather than spending thousands training and transplanting Americans into “foreign” cultures, RSI believes the money is better spent in supporting locals to “win their world.” I happen to believe this is the best mission model, and that is why I am so excited about our opportunity to partner with RSI. You can donate through LifePoint anytime – just make certain the gift is clearly designated to RSI in the memo. If you have any questions about RSI or how to be part of their mission, see Shelly Filkins.

  • Crossroads Clinic
Although Roe v. Wade has been repealed, despite popular belief, abortions are on the rise – mainly because of the availability of the abortion pill. Over 60% of these pre-born babies who are murdered die from the effects of an abortion pill. The availability of these pills has made the job of pregnancy crisis ministries like Crossroads even more difficult. However, Crossroads is faithfully standing in the gap and offering hope and help to women who are contemplating abortion. Unfortunately, because people think abortions have ceased in OK, giving to Crossroads has dropped drastically. LifePoint proudly supports this vital work, and through your faithful giving, we hope to do more to assist Crossroads in their vital work. As with all special donations, when you give through LifePoint, clearly designate the gift so we can get the funds to the proper place. If you have questions about how to engage with Crossroads, see Amy Bachelor.

Tomorrow at LifePoint

  • Pastor’s Class, 10:00 am
We will begin with a short business meeting to approve Ike Buress and Chuck McDowell to our church's Executive Team. After that, we will continue our Biblical Types series with part 6, “The Cleft in the Rock.” Come learn the “so much more” to the story of Moses asking to see God’s glory. Like all biblical types, this one is incredible!

  • Worship/preaching Service, 11:00 am
We have a wonderful worship time planned, which will include our choir singing the incredible song “Thank You for the Blood.” Then, I will share part 3 of our present message series, Why Church?, with a message entitled, “A Christian Out of Church is an Oxymoron!” Are church attendance and membership just a few of the “trappings” of Christianity, or are they essentials? Can you be as faithful without a church home as you can be with one? How important is church attendance? Come hear what God has to say about this important issue.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
