10/18/2024 Message

Hello LifePoint family,

As I write this, I am in Gettysburg, PA. I have been leading tours since Wednesday and although it’s been tiring, it’s been a great time. The homeschoolers I worked with on Wednesday were incredible. I think they had a wonderful time and hopefully, they learned things they normally would not. It is my prayer to instill in them a love for history so they will better understand who we are and how we got here.

I will be heading out Saturday morning for Uxbridge, MA. I will be speaking at the Valley Chapel Church of the Nazarene twice on Sunday, Oct 20. I’ll be doing the presentation on the proper understanding of Romans 13 in the morning and then the BRR presentation that evening. Please continue to pray God will use these presentations as “seeds” that will sprout and produce abundant fruit in the future. The Christian patriots in New England are hoping to use this weekend to help establish a “spiritual beachhead” and then bring me back up there in the spring to do a pastors’ training camp.

This Sunday will be a great day at LifePoint! In the pastor’s class at 10:00am, I will be teaching by video about the “Final Judgment for Believers.” In the worship/preaching service at 11:00am, I will be preaching the message, “Who is Caesar in America?” The worship will be a new twist for us as we use two incredible Shane & Shane live worship videos. I think you’re going to enjoy the morning.

Please keep praying for me as I will be praying for you. I miss you guys and will be back in the pulpit on the 27th.

In closing, I want to remind you of a few important events upcoming:

· Churchwide congregation photo immediately after church – Nov 3
· 2024 Nation election – Nov 5
· Annual budget meeting – Dec 8, 10:00am
· Shepherding Ministry kickoff – Jan 1, 2025

And last – Sue Meyers-Dyer is going to pull a trailer full of supplies to help the folks in NC. Winter weather has begun, and they are using horses and mules to pack things into the mountains. Air drops were not working well due to the weather and other issues. Sue is working with a church there to get the items to those who need them most. If you would like to donate something to include in the shipment, bring it/them Sunday (Oct 20) to church with you. Sue’s number is (405) 816-6740 if you have something large to send and need her to come pick it up. The cutoff date for donating items is Oct 24. Below is a list of items the folks in NC could use:
· Coats
· Gatorade
· Vinegar
· Electric blankets
· Hard rakes
· Fans
· Dehumidifiers
· Dog/Cat Food - small bags
· Extension Cords
· Beef Jerky
· Blankets
· Kid Snacks
· Hard buckets
· Fly paper
· Fire extinguishers
· CO2 detectors
· Walkie talkies
· Hot hands
· Generators
· Grill propane
· Buddy indoor heaters with Coleman propane

Teri Lopes is also working with Sue and will have a table in the welcome area to help accept items, notes of encouragement to be sent to the hurricane/flood survivors and answer any questions you might have.

Be blessed as you gather this Sunday to worship and study!

Looking forward to seeing you again, Sunday, Oct 27,

Dan Fisher
