1st – don’t forget the Crossroads Pregnancy Clinic Walkfor Life tomorrow (Sept 21) at Mineral Wells Park in Guthrie. Whether you plan to run, walk, or just spend some time supporting their work, I know the folks at Crossroads would appreciate your support. Here’s a schedule of the activities:
9 a.m. - Timed 5K event
10 a.m. - Presentation of 5K awards
10:30 a.m. - Walk
2nd – this Sunday’s schedule will look like this:
Pastor’s Class, 10:00 a.m. – we will continue the study, “The Return of Satan.” This study discusses the time after the Millennium when the Lord will release Satan and his demons for a short time. If we have time, we will open the floor for a little Q&A.
Worship/Preaching service, 11:00 a.m. – I will preach a message entitled, “Kissing the door of heaven on the way to hell.” Many people are so dangerously close to true salvation and yet so far away. This is a tragic calamity that many are flirting with. You won’t want to miss this timely message.
3rd – We will keep the charter membership window open until the end of September, so if you want to join as a charter member, be sure to do so before September is gone. If you could not attend the most recent Sunday’s Doorway Class but want to join as a charter member, just go to the LifePoint website and download the class outline, watch the recording of the class, fill out the outline, and turn it in to me (by email attachment or in person). Then we will add you to the charter member list. If you do not have a way to print off the handout, let me know this Sunday and we will make a copy available to you.
Finally, LifePoint Bible Church Women’s Ministry will be hosting a taste of the holidays event, Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Will Roger’s Center, 3400 NW 36th, OKC.
