Just a quick reminder of what this weekend looks like:
Pastor’s Class (10:00am) – we’ll be doing a Q&A class this Sunday. Everyone seems to enjoy this format, so back by popular demand, we’ll commit the entire Bible study time this Sunday morning to Q&A.
Worship/preaching service (11:00 am) – we’ll continue the message we’ve been doing the past few weeks, “God is speaking to you – but how?” This week we’ll see how Scripture can speak directly to us to reveal God’s will – all without the need for special visions, dreams, nudges, impressions, etc.
Memorial service for VeaLoy Ross (12:00 pm) – we will condense the worship/preaching service which will end at 11:55 am. After a 5 min break, we will celebrate the life of VeaLoy Ross with a memorial service that will begin at 12:00 pm and conclude around 12:40 pm. Robin is encouraging everyone to attend.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for September 8 which will be “Membership Sunday” and will provide the opportunity for anyone who wants to join LifePoint as a charter member to do so. We will offer the Doorway Class (required for membership) at 10:00 am during our normal Bible Study time.
Finally, our Women’s Ministry will begin their fall Bible Study small groups the second week of September. Anyone interested can sign up at the welcome center. For more information contact Pam Fisher or Penny Allen.
