Since we only have access to our space in the Nigh Building at UCO on Sundays, we won’t be able to have a Christmas Eve service this year. So, tomorrow will be our “official” Christmas service. Because of this, tomorrow’s services will place extra focus on celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Here’s how the services will look:
Pastor’s Class, 10:00am – because of the level of interest, we will continue our Q&A session in tomorrow’s class. So, bring your questions and we’ll have fun discussing some of the things in the Scriptures that sometimes perplex us.
Worship/preaching Service, 11:00am – we will continue our Christmas message series, “Finding ‘holy days’ in the holidays – removing the hassle & hurry from the hustle and bustle,” with part 4: “Silencing the Grinch & Christmas kill joys.” This is a message you won’t want to miss!
ATTENTION: to all our widows, widowers, and those who may have to celebrate Christmas away from family this year – after tomorrow’s service, LifePoint will be hosting an early Christmas luncheon at the On the Border restaurant at 120 S. Meridian, OKC from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. We attempted to contact everyone, but it is possible that we somehow missed you. So, if you are a widow or widower (or otherwise single and will not be able to be with family) and did not receive an invitation to the luncheon, we apologize and invite you to join us if you can. Meet us up front after the main service to confirm (if you have not already done so).
And don’t forget that our LifePoint Women’s Ministry's “Taste of the Holidays” cookbooks are still for sale at the Constitution Hall welcome center. They are $15.00 per book and would make a great Christmas gift.
As always, I look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday,
