11/9/2024 Message

Hello LifePoint family,

What a week! I’m still walking on air. ? How about you? What a victory! It would appear God heard our prayers and has extended another measure of mercy and grace to America. Now, we must work to make good use of it.

Just a couple reminders:

1. Our annual church budget meeting is scheduled for Dec 8 at 10:00am. Gary Davis will quickly review the budget for 2024 and give a financial status report, then present the new budget for 2025 for approval. (If you would like to have a copy of the proposed budget ahead of time, see Gary. He should have them ready by Sunday, Nov 17). If we can approve the budget quickly enough, then I will share about securing a permanent location for LifePoint and what that will entail.

2. We are working on putting together a Christmas Ensemble/Choir for December. The initial meeting was last Sunday and I’m told we had a great response. If you are interested in participating, contact Vernon Vincent at vernonvincent@sbcglobal.net or (405) 762-6968. There will be a brief meeting immediately after church, Nov 10 at 12:30, for those who are interested (children age 4 through adult). They will gather in the area by where Sunday morning snacks are served.

Here’s what’s on tap for services tomorrow at LifePoint:
  • Pastor’s Class, 10:00am – we will continue our teaching series, “The Final Judgment & Lake of Fire,” with Part 4: “Why did O.T. believers go to hades & do believers go there today?” This study will answer lots of questions I’m often asked about where people go when they die. You won’t want to miss it.
  • Worship/preaching service, 11:00am – I will be preaching a sermon entitled, “Lessons from Donald Trump.” I’m excited to deliver this encouraging/challenging message.

Don’t forget that we were able to purchase a block of hyperbaric sessions through the church at a greatly discounted rate. If you would like to take advantage of these reduced prices, contact Val and she can work with you to claim some of the sessions.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow,
Dan Fisher
