I hope you had a great week and are enjoying a little downtime – with some of you enjoying some college football. 
 
I want to express a special thanks to Gary Davis, Ben & Carla Whit, Justin & Brooke Holmes, Deron Buroughs, and Pete & Cheryle Conser for traveling to Weatherford this past Thursday night to help with the BRR presentation I did there.  We were happy to have Mary Ann & Tom Shepherd join us as well.  The event went very well, and you guys helped make it a pure joy.  Thank you for investing in that wonderful crowd that came to the event, for investing in liberty, and for helping to make my load a lot lighter.  You guys are the best!

Jim Rankin is coming back to LifePoint

Next Sunday, Oct 18, our good friend and missionary, Jim Rankin, will be speaking in our 11 am worship/preaching service.  Jim will be sharing a new message we’ve not heard before entitled “The Frankincense King.”  This will be a great experience you’ll not want to miss.  Check out the promotional info below. Valet parking begins tomorrow

Thanks to our wonderful Greeters Ministry, valet parking will be available to those who find it physically difficult to walk from the parking lot to the Nigh Bldg.  A Welcome Team member will be happy to park your car for you and bring it back after service.  Just pull up under the covered entrance on the east side of the Nigh Bldg. and let someone know, and they’ll be glad to help you.
 
Now, John Walters, this service is not for you.  Drop Kim off at the front door, park in the parking lot, and then walk back to the bldg. You need to make room for those biscuits!

When you get a chance, drive by our new facility and take a look at our new signs.  Thanks to our own Hanson family, people can now know where we’ll be meeting in the future.  Thank you, Dr. Ryan, April, and the rest of the family for making this happen.  What a wonderful job you did and what a great addition to our church!  We love you guys!

Here’s how tomorrow will look at LifePoint:

• Pastor's/BRR Class, 10 am - we will continue our verse-by-verse study of the Book of Revelation with lesson 9: “Sardis – a church full of zombies.” This letter will be a great study! Come join us in the class tomorrow!
  
  
• Worship/Preaching Service, 11 am - we’ll have a great worship time, and then I will continue our newest message series: “The curse and consequences of false teachers.” This message series is a must – especially with today’s epidemic of false teachers and how they dominate social media.  Tomorrow’s message will be the third in this series. If you missed or need to review a previous message, you can always do so on our website at Lbcok.com.
