Good evening LifePoint family,
I apologize for getting this email out to you so late. I spoke in Wichita Friday night, and because I had to pull over on my way home to wait out last night’s storm, I arrived home later than I had planned. So, I spent today rushing around trying to catch up.
Special thanks to all of you who prayed for me while I was in KS. The BRR presentation went very well last night, and the good folks of Augusta, KS (just outside of Wichita) were enthusiastic and warmly embraced the message. Additionally, I want to thank all of you for your constant support of our Black Robe efforts. In these days, that message is needed more than ever.
I will be doing the BRR presentation next Thursday evening, July 2, in Ft. Smith, AR, and I’ll also be doing it in Enid, OK, on Monday evening, July 6. You can go to my BRR website at danfisherbrr.com for more info.
Baptism signup
We are presently compiling a list of those who need to be baptized so we can schedule a date for a baptism service. If you need to be baptized, please go to LBCOK.com/baptism-signup and place your name on the list. Stay tuned for the baptism service date.
Event Center Update
We have been feverishly working out the final details of the purchase of the Event Center and are almost there. Barring any unforeseen difficulties, we are scheduled to close on the property this week, July 1. Be praying that all goes well.
Also, be praying about what the Lord will want you to give toward our construction fund so we can do the auditorium expansion. We’re working on a special offering service. We’ll share the details as soon as we have them. We apologize that this process has been so unpredictable, tedious, and slow. Thankfully, it appears we’re nearing the finish line!
Tomorrow at LifePoint

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow,
Dan

Tomorrow at LifePoint
- Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10 am – we will continue our verse-by-verse study of the Book of Revelation as we wrap up part 3 and begin part 4, “A Kingdom of Priests.” Come join us and get in on the ground floor of this exhilarating and inspiring study.
- Worship/Preaching Service, 11 am – last Sunday, I preached part 1 of the sermon, “Promising start – pitiful finish, what makes & breaks spiritual champions.” This message focuses on the life of Samson. Tomorrow, we’ll continue that message and focus on the specific mistakes that Samson made that took him from “hero to zero.” Samson’s example is a challenging lesson illustrating how a believer’s spiritual destiny can be squandered away, leading to a sad, pitiful finish.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow,
Dan
