11/22/2025 Message

I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share what tomorrow’s services will look like, as well as a few special needs we have within our church family.

First, tomorrow’s services:

  • Pastor/BRR Class, 10:00 am – for those of you who normally attend, we have been studying a lesson series entitled, “Truths on truth.”  This series is critical for every believer – especially given the blurring of truth lines in our culture by the spiritual/political Left. Last Sunday, we began lesson 5, “If truth cannot be known, why believe anything at all?”  Tomorrow, we will continue that discussion.  Come join us.

  • Worship/Preaching Service, 11:00 am – we will celebrate our annual Thanksgiving celebration.  It’ll be great!  We are all so blessed, none of us should have any difficulty finding a reason to offer up a heartfelt thank you to the Lord – Who is far better to us than we deserve.  I hope you can be there.

Special needs at LifePoint

We frequently have members of our congregation who need assistance – whether financial or otherwise.  Typically, because of your faithful giving, we can meet the financial needs without asking for any type of special offering.  However, right now, we have a few needs that are requiring us to make significant draws from our LifeBody funds.  If you feel led to give any type of special offering to help handle some of these needs, then simply designate it to our LifeBody fund. Be assured that we have gone ahead and met those needs, so regardless of the giving to LifeBody, these wonderful folks have already been ministered to by all of us.

Secondly, we have a member who needs to find a house to rent.  If you have any rental property or know of a good house that is available, please let us know so we can pass along the information.  Her budget is $1,500/mo or less, and she is seeking a three-bedroom house with a backyard (preferably on the edge of town).  She prefers not to be in town if at all possible.

And last, we have several folks who need our prayers because of the physical challenges they are presently facing.  I know they appreciate your intercession on their behalf.

Annual Budget Presentation

On Dec 7, the Executive Team will present the proposed budget for 2026. Gary Davis will deliver a condensed review of the 2025 budget and then give us an update on our present financial status. Then, he will present the 2026 budget for your approval. The business meeting will begin at 10:00 am, and if the meeting doesn’t go too long, we will continue our study in the Pastor’s/BRR class afterwards. If you have questions about the budget, don’t hesitate to reach out to Gary.

As always, I look forward to worshipping Jesus with you tomorrow,
Dan Fisher

Get your Christmas cards written because this year we will have a Christmas Card Exchange "mailbox" at LifePoint! This will help everyone avoid costly postage and be able to share cards with LifePoint friends. The mailbox will be at the Welcome Desk beginning Sunday, Nov 30. It will have this sign (above) on the front.
  • To Send a Card: Label your envelope clearly with the recipient's full name. File it alphabetically by last name in the "mailbox" (A–Z tabs).
  • To Receive a Card: Check the "mailbox" (A–Z tabs) for your last name. Grab any cards addressed to you!
Drop it in this mailbox anytime—it's open for the season! Let's spread joy together! Merry CHRISTmas!!!
