5/30/2026 Message

I hope everyone enjoyed Memorial Day weekend and the “official” beginning of summer.  We missed those of you who were gone.

We continue to have folks sick, recovering from surgery, or going through some other type of challenge.  They need our prayers, so send up a prayer on their behalf.  Even better, if you can, reach out to someone struggling and lend a helping hand.  Both of you will be blessed.

New facility purchase update
By now, you have likely heard that last week we signed the purchase/sale agreement with the owners of the Event Center on N. Eastern.  We have set a tentative closing date of July 1, and assuming inspections, survey, etc., go well, we should finalize the purchase and hopefully begin construction on the auditorium in late August or early September!

I am certain many of you have questions, so we will have a town hall meeting next Sunday, June 7, at 10 am during the Pastor’s/BRR Class.  If we need the whole hour for questions, we’ll take it.  If the meeting ends early, we’ll go forward with the class.

We’re also working on a viewing time when anyone who wants can tour the facility.  Of course, you’ll be seeing it before the auditorium renovation begins, but you’ll still be able to see the incredible potential.  Stay tuned for a date.

Jake Merrick is coming to LifePoint
Jake Merrick, an OK gubernatorial candidate, will take about 15 min during tomorrow’s 11 am service to share his testimony and explain why he is running for governor.  Come hear Jake and take the opportunity to meet him before the service begins.

This Sunday at LifePoint

  • Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10 am – we will continue our verse-by-verse study of Revelation with part 2, “The why, how, when, & who of Revelation.”  If you’ve ever wanted to understand or gain a better understanding of the amazing book of Revelation, this is your chance.  If you missed part 1, you can always catch it on our website at Lbcok.com or click here.

  • Worship/Preaching Service, 11 am – in addition to a great time of worship, we’ll hear from Jake Merrick, and then I’ll preach the final message of our “Anchored” series.  This final message is entitled, “Prison Principles.”  Do you ever feel like you’re in “spiritual” prison?  Joseph, in the book of Genesis, was – and he hadn’t done anything wrong.  Maybe you’re going through a difficult time right now, and you can’t figure out why.  Truth is, we all do.  So, what do we do when the “dark prison times” come?  Come tomorrow and find out.  All of us desperately need to hear this message. If you would like to review previous messages in this series, click here.

I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday,
Dan Fisher
