I really missed being with you all last Sunday. Thank you to all who prayed for me as I traveled to do a Black Robe presentation in Knoxville, TN, and Greenwood, SC. Both went extremely well. Thankfully, at least for me, I’ll be back in the saddle at LifePoint tomorrow.

BRR coming to OKC July 4
Speaking of the Black Robe presentation, I’ll be doing the full presentation on July 4 at the Fellowship led by Daniel Navejas at 5801 NW 178th, Edmond, OK. The presentation will begin around 7:00 pm that evening, followed by a fireworks display. If any of you have never seen it or have family or friends who haven’t, this would be a great opportunity. I’ll have the full War of Independence traveling museum there as well. Doors open at 6:30 pm, so I’d say arrive early so you can get a good seat. Click the image above to learn more about the BRR.
Update on the Event Center
Update on the Event Center

This week, we made huge strides working out some last-minute issues. It looks like we’re still on track for our closing scheduled for early July. Continue to pray for God’s leadership and grace. Also, as I stated last week, be praying about what God would have you give toward the construction fundraiser we will launch in a few weeks.
Baptism service this summer
Baptism service this summer
If you have not been Scripturally baptized, we’re beginning to compile a list of those who would like to be baptized. Once we finalize that list, we’ll schedule a date this summer for a baptismal service after church, much like what we did last summer. If you want to be placed on the list, click here to go to our website to complete and submit the Baptism Request form.

Tomorrow at LifePoint
- BRR/Pastor's Class, 10 am - we will continue our verse-by-verse study of Revelation as we complete part 3: “Revelation – not Revelations.” Does it really matter if we get the title of this Bible book correct? Why is it incorrect to view the book of Revelation as a book primarily about prophecy? Come join us and find out.
- Worship/Preaching Service, 11 am - as most of you know, tomorrow is Father’s Day. On this day, as always, we need fathers who will be champions for Christ. So tomorrow I’ll be preaching a message entitled, “What makes & breaks a spiritual champion.” Our culture is desperately hungry for “true” champions. That’s why people tend to become sycophants of star athletes, popular performers – and even some politicians. Unfortunately, as we have just witnessed in our own Oklahoma politics, many of these “celebrities” fail us – as all flawed men tend to do. So, are there any “real” champions for Christ? What characteristics make champions out of mere mortal men? What are the critical flaws that take them down? Tomorrow’s message will give Scriptural answers to those questions.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow,
Dan
