4/25/2026 Message

Our LBC Women’s Ministry has a big event coming up this Tuesday evening (6-8pm). Carreybeth, Penny, and Pam want to encourage all women (whether you presently attend a bible study or not) to attend. They are also encouraging you to invite other women (in your family or friends). Contact leadership if you have any questions. Here’s the vital information you need to know:
Good news on our purchase of the Event Center

It appears that we are entering the final stages of negotiating the purchase of the Event Center on N. Eastern! If all goes well, we could have everything finalized and documents in place in the next couple of weeks. Once that happens, our E.T. will take time in the Pastor’s/BRR Class or Worship/Preaching Service to bring everyone up to speed and share what our near future looks like. When we know the sale is secured, we are looking forward to scheduling a time with the present owners for our congregation to tour the facility. When you see it, we think you’re going to love it! We’ll keep you posted as to developments. These are exciting times for LBC!

A special thank you for the ministry many of you have extended

Our LifePoint family has recently experienced several urgent needs with some in the hospital, others having out-patient surgery, some battling illnesses, and with the homegoing of John Williams. I have watched with great satisfaction as many of you have stepped up to minister to these wonderful members of our body. I know they have been blessed and I am certain heaven is pleased. Thank you for caring and making the sacrifices to be there when folks are in need. It is an honor to see LifePoint in action!

Tomorrow at LifePoint

  • Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10am – We will continue our series, “Getting Scripture Right.” We will use the Hermeneutics we have been learning to decipher more “difficult to understand” passages that are so often misinterpreted and lead so many down a wrong path. Tomorrow, we’ll begin looking at what Jesus meant when He said to “hate your family,” what Paul meant when he said “women will be saved in childbearing,” and if “being baptized for the dead” is a biblical practice. Come join us and learn how not to make gobbledygook out of Scripture.

  • Coming to the Pastor’s Class May 10: the Book of Revelation verse-by-verse. You won’t want to miss this incredible journey!

  • Worship/Preaching Service, 11am – We will begin a series of messages entitled, “Anchored.” In a world where everything is constantly changing and the ground is always shifting beneath our feet; how can we have security and peace? This series of messages will help us cope with living in a crazy world that is getting crazier by the day.
I look forward to worshiping with you tomorrow,

Dan Fisher
