Pam and I want to thank you again for last Sunday evening’s amazing celebration of our 50th year of preaching the incredible Word of God.  We were encouraged beyond words.

Urgent prayer request

We need to pray for Jerry Troxel’s grandson, Landon.  He is improving but had a major infection that required brain surgery.
 
Also:  Faye Dawson is recovering from knee replacement surgery.  She would appreciate your prayers as well.

Tomorrow at LifePoint

Here’s how tomorrow will look at LifePoint:

• Pastor's/BRR Class, 10 am - We will continue our verse-by-verse study of the Book of Revelation with lesson 10: “Philadelphia – the church with an open door.” Tomorrow, as we study Rev 3:10, we will begin a multi-week discussion of the “The Great Tribulation.”  If you are interested in end time prophecy, this study is just what the doctor ordered!
  
  
• Worship/Preaching Service, 11 am - We are presently engaged in a timely and critical message series entitled, “The curse and consequences of false teachers.”  Two weeks ago, as we began to expose some of the individuals and their false teachings, questions were raised about the Word of Faith “little gods” teaching and the teaching that Jesus became a sinner on the cross, went to hell for punishment, and was then “born again” to escape hell.  These incredibly unbiblical claims need further discussion, so tomorrow, we’ll pause from exposing more false teachers and their teachings to deal with these questions.  You won’t want to miss it.
