I want to thank everyone for your prayers for Pam during her knee surgery this week. She’s doing great and is already walking around. The swelling has subsided, and I think she’s on the mend.
There are numerous others in our church who are struggling as well, and I know they also appreciate your prayers. If you are aware of someone with needs, please reach out to them. What a tremendous blessing you can be to someone with a text, phone call, email – or better yet, drop by to see them! We have an amazing church family.
New facility update
The E.T. is continuing to talk with numerous banks in an attempt to secure an acceptable loan agreement to purchase the property on N. Eastern. We are hoping to hear some definitive news this next week. Be praying for God’s guidance in this process. We’ll give you an update as soon as we know something.
Potential Plymouth/Boston tour
Several are asking about the possibility of a tour of Plymouth and Boston, which we had tentatively scheduled for mid to late May. We finally have an approximate cost. Here are the costs based upon a group of 35 (if we do not have 35 going, the travel cost while we’re there will increase):
Room, travel (in Plymouth & Boston), & tickets to sites $900.00 per person
Estimated food cost ……………….................................. $250.00 per person
Total cost …………..……………………………...….. $1,150.00 per person
If you are “truly” interested, I need you to contact asap so we can know if we have a large enough group to start booking arrangements. Please email me to let me know (even if you have previously voiced an interest). I need to hear from you by no later than Mar 14. I will then send out the word whether the trip makes or not by Mar 15.
Car needed for LifeBody Ministry
As you heard last week, our LifeBody Ministry is searching for a dependable car for a family in our church. A few responded last Sunday, and we’re considering their offers. While we’re doing so, if you have a car you would like to donate or sell, or you know someone who does, please let us know asap.
Tomorrow at LifePoint

Tomorrow at LifePoint
- Pastor’s/BRR Class, 10 am – I can’t say how many times I’ve heard someone say about some passage of Scripture, “Well, that’s how I interpret it.” But what if their interpretational methods are flawed and their “interpretation” is wrong? Well, tomorrow we will begin a new series, entitled “Getting Scripture Right,” that will help us deal with this problem. Unfortunately, I am constantly hearing or encountering misinterpretations of Scripture. With the advent of the internet, false teaching (nefarious or not) has reached epidemic proportions today. This is incredibly problematic since an incorrect understanding of one passage of Scripture or what Scripture teaches about a particular subject can greatly impact the way we read the rest of the Bible. An incorrect understanding of Scripture will then eventually damage our faith walk. I’m convinced that much of the time, these “incorrect interpretations” are unintentional and are the result of either a poor understanding of the Bible, incorrect teaching a person has previously received, or bad interpretational practices. This series will help us learn how to properly understand and interpret Scripture. If you really want to know what Scripture “actually” teaches, this study series is a must. Come join us and get in on the ground floor of these important lessons.
- Worship/Preaching Service, 11 am – Tomorrow we will continue our “Saved” message series with part 6: “Is suicide a one-way ticket to hell?” Every one of us has likely known a Christian who killed themselves. What happens when a believer commits suicide? Do they still go to heaven? Does the Bible tell us? You won’t want to miss this important message that will provide biblical answers to these disturbing questions.
